Dr. Gregory C. Hutchings, Jr. is a nationally recognized educational leader, executive coach, and strategist with over 25 years of experience leading, advising, and coaching educational leaders. As the founder and CEO of Hutchings & Associates, he specializes in executive leadership development, strategic planning, superintendent onboarding, and school board governance.
Dr. Hutchings brings a decade of successful experience as a public school superintendent, having led both urban and suburban districts with a focus on transformational leadership, innovation, and student-centered results. His leadership has guided school divisions through comprehensive strategic planning processes, organizational change initiatives, and strengthened alignment between superintendents and school boards.
For over ten years, Dr. Hutchings has coached and facilitated leadership development for aspiring superintendents across the country through the American Association of School Administrators (AASA) and the Howard University Urban Superintendents Academy. He continues this work in his current role as an assistant professor and Program Coordinator for the Educational Leadership and Policy Studies (ELPS) Doctor of Education program at Howard University’s School of Education.
