Noah Dougherty

Noah Dougherty is a lifelong educator who believes in the power of design to create meaningful learning experiences. He began this work as a teacher, designing lessons that drove student inquiry and empowerment. Noah continued that work as a curriculum writer for public school districts, charter organizations, and for-profit companies. As a consultant, he partnered with districts across the country to design strategies and projects to create more equitable learning environments. He is also the founder of Relevant Learner, a culturally relevant curriculum tool that helps teachers design more culturally responsive lessons. Noah grew up in Syracuse, NY and now lives in Washington, DC.

Dr. Phyllis Pajardo

Phyllis Cofield Pajardo, Ed.D. has more than 40 years of experience in instructional leadership, leadership development, and operational management. Prior to retiring in June 2022, Dr. Phyll, as she is affectionately known, served five years as superintendent of schools in the City of Fairfax Schools (Virginia) serving 3000 students in four schools. She championed reflective leadership practices, capacity building for staff, and programming to provide student access and opportunity such as AVID (K-12), 1:1 technology initiatives, and advanced academics.
